LA BREA - SEASON 2
A massive sinkhole mysteriously opens up in Los Angeles, separating part of a family in an unexplainable primeval world, alongside a desperate group of strangers.
La Brea Season 2 challenged virtual production to truly enter another dimension, with virtual environments becoming more dynamic and scaling larger than any other production to hit Australia’s shores.
Dreamscreen Australia - in partnership with Tracklab, Spectre Studios and TDC - delivered a range of bespoke virtual environments used as set extensions, simulated travel and interactive displays.
We’d like to thank director, Adam Davidson and the team at NBC Universal Studios for allowing us to dream big.

REFLECTIONS
One of the biggest benefits of virtual production is that reflections are your best friend. Unlike green or blue screen, you are walking away with final pixels, capturing all your beautiful reflections in-camera. La Brea knew how to do this very well!

SET EXTENSIONS
Wanting to grow your world but not your budget? Set extensions are the perfect solution. Dreamscreen can assist in extending your world, even using your exisiting props.
DREAM BIG
The Bio Bay was an environment that pushed the imagination and what had been done on a Virtual Production stage. With an expansive atrium, with a million pieces of foliage, running river and sabretooth tiger. The Bio Bay took our crew, cast and audience to a new world.
