On a mission to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy creatives, Dreamscreen Australia proudly joined forces with Amazon Girls' Tech Day 2025, an event designed to open doors for girls exploring careers in STEM and creative technology.

Dreamscreen's Green Screen Exhibit

423 female students, 115+ professionals, 20+ industry partners, 1 MASSIVE day! We were proud to be invited to exhibit at Melbourne’s first ever Amazon Girls’ Tech Day, a global Amazon initiative allowing students to get hands-on with technology and become inspired.

Dreamscreen went green screen for the day which saw our crew, Bridget McNamara and Stephanie Bonnes set up and operate an interactive virtual production experience that gave students a taste of the future of filmmaking. From walking on set to learning how real-time environments work, attendees got to explore how technology meets storytelling.

Dreamscreen going Green Screen

For Dreamscreen, this was more than just a demo, it was a chance to showcase a career pathway that many young women (ourselves included!) never knew existed when we were in school.

By bringing visibility to virtual production and its creative potential, we hope to inspire more girls to see themselves not just behind the camera, but designing the worlds it captures.

Thank you to our Dreamscreen team and the Amazon Girls’ Tech Day team for bringing the exhibit to life, and for creating space for young minds to imagine big futures.
