VIRTUAL PRODUCTION: THE FUTURE OF FILMMAKING
Virtual Production is a ground breaking filmmaking technique that combines CGI virtual sets with live-action elements to create real-time in-camera solutions that amaze.

Using a combination of virtual 3D environments, motion capture camera systems, and LED walls, we can create immersive and dynamic virtual locations in the comfort of our studio.
Virtual Production enhances the efficiency of the filmmaking process by minimising the need for extensive post-production work, as the virtual elements are integrated directly into the live-action footage during shooting. This innovative approach has gained prominence in the film industry for its ability to streamline production workflows, enhance visual storytelling, and provide filmmakers with greater control and flexibility over the final product. This means filmmakers can now realise their vision without the need for expensive physical sets or costly location permits.
DYNAMIC SCENES
Using Unreal Engine, we can create 3D worlds for production cameras to freely occupy virtually.

Our tracking system allows production cameras to interact with the 3D environment in real time, making it possible to find the perfect camera angle at any given moment as you would expect on an actual location. The tracking data allows the studio camera to film shifting parallax or perspective that adds to the realism of a natural environment setting.
FINAL FOOTAGE, ON THE DAY
The virtual production pipeline can allow filmmakers to walk away with footage that is near-complete on the same day.

No need to nervously wait for greenscreen to be edited out in post and hope your VFX team can deliver in a short deadline. At Dreamscreen, you'll see your world come to life and film inside it on the day. The footage our clients walk away with often only requires a minor colour grade.
Any scenery you like
No green spill
Overhead projection
Realistic reflections
Practical effects
No. Greenscreen and bluescreen still hold a place in filmmaking.

However, by eliminating the need for entire green or blue backgrounds, filmmakers can be more effective on set. Blending green/bluescreen with VP techniques minimises the need for unnecessary expensive post-production fixups. This alleviates the pressure on your VFX postproduction team by reducing time spent creating reflections or keying out excessive green/blue spill.
