In October we were fortunate enough to travel to Kōawa Studios at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, training staff on all things virtual production.
Our Dreamscreen team travelled to Kōawa Studios at the University of Canterbury to train educators and technicians at their brand-new LED studio.
During the 4 days of training, we covered areas including optimisation of workflows and systems, the virtual production pipeline and how to best prepare students for the screen industry.
Our team provided an insight into the operations of Dreamscreen's commercial stage and how staff and students of the Bachelor of Digital design will greatly benefit from having this technology and the skills to use it at their disposal.
We were so thrilled to see how genuinely excited the team at Kōawa Studios at the University of Canterbury were to embrace the craft of virtual production. We all wish we had access to technology like this when we were at university.
Thank you to all the team at the University of Canterbury for being so welcoming and eager to learn and a special thank you to Stefan Schiebe, Clancy Duncan, Mark McNeil & Mike Forrester and to Sam Witters & Kevin Watson.
Dreamscreen can help you find the solutions to fit your specific needs.
Our team offer exclusive consultancy work to providers looking to build volumes, enhance their systems, workflows and facilities across the Virtual Production pipeline. We have worked closely with universities, studios and sole traders to help them become a greater asset to the industry.
